Its A Wonderful Life

Christmastime is here again.
Its been a bit of a struggle this year. For the first time in years I am homesick. Los Angeles (particularly, Beverly Hills) can’t hold a candle to NY at Christmas. But then again, no city can (Paris, you say? Maybe).

I miss…

….the crisp New York air at Christmastime.

….the smells of roasted chestnuts and warm pretzels on the street vendor’s carts.

….the Christmas tree and skating rink at Rockefeller Center.

…the hustle & bustle of Madison Avenue

…the live musicians on the subway

…long walks through Central Park

But a stroll through Beverly Hills was just the tonic for me; although the energy was soothing rather han exhilarating. There is a beautiful tree at Via Rodeo and enough lights and festive decor to put me in good cheer.
It was good enough for me because if nothing else, I am thankful.

So,
God bless us; Everyone.
