Sometimes a wrong turn is just life’s way of showing me a more interesting path.
Not necessarily a shortcut but a way that makes the journey better. Better possibly because with all of the twists, turns and bumps along the way, my journey has become more memorable.
It is a gift to be able to look back at my experiences and see something so sweet, so pure and so mine.
For all the years I spent lamenting my various situations, I must say it has all been worth it. And the best part is I am exactly where I am supposed to be.
I am at a place where I know without a doubt that everything that is meant to be, will be. My only responsibility is to move honestly through each moment. No excuses, complaints, dramas or questions.
I have organized my life, my way of being, very simply. This has been the true reward of getting beyond a certain age. I no longer feel pressure to conform.
There are the things I will do.
There are the things I will not do.
So simple.
The randomness of my life has led me to unexpected beauty in the most unexpected places.
And how fortunate I am to see it.
